Job Title: Non-Clinical - Health and Information Management - Trauma Registrar
Location: Richland, WA (onsite)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Working hours: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)
Total hours: 40
ON-SITE 1YR HEALTHCARE EXP
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or related setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Coursework or training in medical terminology and human anatomy, or equivalent education/experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with interruptions
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or training in medical coding
- 1 year of medical record abstracting and/or coding experience
- 1 year of medical registry experience or 2 years in a healthcare-related field
- Experience with injury severity coding and reimbursement coding
