Position Summary
The Forklift Driver II is responsible for safely operating gasoline-, diesel-, electric-, or propane-powered industrial trucks to load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing facilities. This role supports inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving operations, and ensures compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, stack, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
Perform daily pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report equipment issues.
Load and unload trailers, trucks, and storage racks while ensuring proper material handling and product protection.
Accurately transport materials to designated warehouse or production locations using RF scanners or inventory management systems.
Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying product quantities, labels, and documentation.
Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to meet daily operational goals.
