Data Engineer (Azure-Focused)

We’re looking for a mid-level Data Engineer who can help us build and maintain reliable data pipelines, transform and organize data, and support analytics teams as we continue growing our Azure environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong SQL/Python and ETL experience who wants to deepen their cloud skills in Azure.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines that move and transform data from various internal systems.
• Work with Azure Data Factory (or similar ETL tools) to orchestrate workflows.
• Develop and maintain data structures in SQL databases and Azure Data Lake.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and operations teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets.
• Optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement basic data quality checks, monitoring, and documentation.
• Assist in data modeling for reporting and analytics use cases.
• Support the transition of legacy ETL workloads into Azure-based solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or database engineering.
• Strong SQL experience (joins, CTEs, performance tuning).
• Python experience for data transformation or automation.
• Experience with any major cloud platform (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP OK).
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse is a plus.
• Experience with data lakes, warehouses, or BI data modeling.
• Understanding of data quality, testing, and version control (Git).

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience migrating ETL pipelines into Azure.
• Databricks or Spark experience.
• Power BI or other reporting tools.
• Azure certifications (DP-203, DP-900).
