Job description:
We're seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who values precision, reliability, and pride in their work. You'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of diesel and gasoline vehicles in a clean, well-equipped shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline engines.
- Perform inspections, and maintenance per manufacturer standards. Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, and emissions systems using diagnostic tools. Document all labor and work performed accurately. Communicate repair timelines and updates to the Service Manager. Maintain a safe and organized workspace. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of diesel or automotive technician experience preferred.
- ASE certification(s) or equivalent experience preferred, not required (shop covers ASE testing). Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.50 - $38.73 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
