Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Motors Technician for a full-time, on-site role located in Totowa, NJ. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining General Motors vehicles using advanced tools and diagnostic equipment. Daily responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections, performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension.
- Hands-on experience with advanced diagnostic tools and software used in General Motors vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, air conditioning, and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical manuals and guidelines.
- ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training (preferred).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with co-workers and clients.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school education or equivalent experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.86 - $35.35 per hour
