Job Title: IT Asset Manager / Technical Support
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas – Onsite
Contract: September 7, 2026 – June 30, 2027
Travel: Approximately 2 days per week to client office
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and insurance required
The Client is seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager / Technical Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support and IT asset management across statewide operations. This role will manage the complete lifecycle of hardware and software assets while supporting end users, field offices, and remote teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with IT Asset Management, ITSM/ITAM tools, helpdesk or field technical support, hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and end-user support. This position requires excellent customer service skills, independence in the field, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets from acquisition through maintenance, refresh, and secure disposal.
Maintain accurate asset inventories and IT asset databases, including AMDB/CMDB records.
Monitor software licenses, utilization, compliance, renewals, and vendor requirements.
Assist with hardware and software procurement, contracts, renewals, and vendor coordination.
Develop and maintain IT asset management policies, procedures, approval processes, and workflows.
Manage support tickets and document technical issues, configurations, resolutions, and asset information.
Generate reports related to asset utilization, compliance, operational costs, and lifecycle management.
Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other end-user equipment.
Troubleshoot Windows 11, Active Directory, LAN connectivity, imaging, and other field technology issues.
Support iOS and Android mobile devices and related management tools.
Provide remote and onsite technical assistance to users across multiple AGFC field offices.
Serve as the primary field technology resource and coordinate with the central IT team when escalation is required.
Maintain excellent customer service and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
3 years of IT Asset Management experience.
3 years of ITSM/ITAM tool administration experience.
3 years of helpdesk or field technician support experience.
3 years of end-user hardware support experience.
3 years of software installation and maintenance experience.
Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other end-user technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service and user-support skills.
Ability to work independently in field environments.
Valid driver’s license and insurance with the ability to travel statewide.
CompTIA A , CSAM, CHAMP, ITIL v4, or related certification.
Experience with Freshservice ITSM/ITAM.
Experience with NinjaOne RMM.
Google Workspace administration experience.
Experience working in government, public-sector, or conservation organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

This position requires regular travel to client offices throughout Arkansas, averaging approximately 2 days per week. Travel may be conducted independently or with AGFC personnel using an client vehicle. No travel reimbursement is provided.
