Job Description:
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support to end users and maintain reliable operation of desktop systems within a Microsoft-based environment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Support Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Active Directory environments.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues through structured troubleshooting.
- Manage ticket lifecycle, documentation, and escalations.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
- Handle multiple support requests based on priority and business impact.
Required Skills:
- Experience in desktop support or technical support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic networking.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with Active Directory, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced onsite environment.
