Role Description
This part-time Licensed Professional of Mental Health role at TFCCS involves providing high-quality mental health counseling services to individuals in the community. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering one-on-one or group therapy sessions, and engaging in community outreach initiatives. The professional will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote holistic well-being. This is a hybrid role based in Wilmington, DE, offering flexibility for remote work while requiring some on-site presence for in-person services and community engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and empathize with clients
- Customer Service skills, demonstrating respect, patience, and a client-centered approach
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and principles related to patient well-being
- Familiarity with Medicine and its relevance to mental health practices
- Experience in Health Promotion to empower clients in adopting healthy lifestyle practices
- Valid license as a mental health professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Experience working with justice-involved individuals and marginalized communities is a plus
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited program
