Principal Technical Program Manager / Enterprise Solutions Leader
About the Role
We are seeking a relationship-driven technology leader to bridge the gap between business vision and enterprise-scale execution. In this role, you will lead cross-functional initiatives to design, deliver, and evolve scalable technology solutions that drive organizational growth and efficiency. This is a strategic, high-visibility role with a clear runway for long-term executive career progression.
Location: Hampton Roads, VA area (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Delivery: Lead the planning and execution of large-scale, complex technology programs aligned with corporate business goals.
Solution Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into high-level technical direction; guide engineering teams toward scalable and sustainable solutions.
Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with executive leadership, business units, and technical teams to ensure organizational alignment and buy-in.
Influence & Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and executive audiences.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate enterprise systems and deployment workflows to improve quality, efficiency, and delivery speed.
Qualifications
Experience: 7 years in technology leadership, consulting, or enterprise solution delivery (strong background in software engineering transitioning into architecture/management preferred).
Technical Breadth: Deep conceptual understanding of modern application ecosystems, complex ERP systems, integrations, data platforms, and cloud environments.
Architectural Literacy: Ability to engage senior technical architects and engineering leaders at a conceptual, architectural level without needing to be hands-on with code.
Matrix Leadership: Proven success managing large-scale initiatives with highly matrixed customer bases, cross-functional dependencies, and diverse teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent blend of education and professional experience.
