The Opportunity:
We are a growing, multi-location industrial organization seeking a technology leader for a unique role that blends high-level strategy with 10 years of hands-on execution. You will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing the entire business technology ecosystem. This position requires an individual who can develop a long-term innovation roadmap while also personally driving critical system projects and configurations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a Critical ERP Implementation: Spearhead the enterprise-wide implementation of Epicor Prophet 21, serving as the primary technical and project lead from design and configuration through go-live and user adoption. You will be the main point of contact for our integration partners.
- Own the Data & Analytics Platform: Architect and manage the company's data ecosystem, leveraging Azure Data Lake and Power BI to deliver critical business intelligence and reporting capabilities.
- Drive Process Automation: Drive operational efficiency by expanding the use of enterprise automation tools, including RPA platforms and automated order processing systems.
- Pioneer Emerging Technology: Lead initiatives to integrate generative AI and other advanced technologies to create a competitive advantage and streamline business processes.
- Build and Lead: Develop a small, high-impact technology team over time. Manage all technology vendor and partner relationships to ensure performance, security, and value.
- Shape the Future: Define and execute the company’s overall digital transformation and technology modernization strategy.
What You'll Bring:
Required Experience:
- 10 years of progressive experience in IT, with a significant focus on senior systems management or technology leadership.
- Deep, proven experience leading multi-site Epicor Prophet 21 implementations is a firm requirement.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) and BI tools (PowerBI preferred).
- Demonstrable experience with enterprise automation technologies (e.g., RPA, workflow automation).
- A track record of successfully managing technology vendors and building internal teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to integrating systems in a merger & acquisition (M&A) context.
- Familiarity with applying enterprise AI/ML solutions to business problems.
Skills & Mindset:
- Mastery of P21 configuration, architecture, and implementation lifecycle.
- Strategic thinker who is also a pragmatic, hands-on problem-solver.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
