Part-time (20 - 30 hours per week) | 12-month Contract

Onsite/hybrid in Richmond, VA

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Logistics & Systems Specialist to serve as a vital bridge between our vendor network and internal IT/Supply Chain teams. In this role, you will lead critical Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) operations, drive seamless vendor compliance, and support our upcoming legacy-to-next-gen ERP transition from MMS to Blue Yonder.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems Migration & Vendor Enablement: Serve as the technical and operational bridge between external vendors and internal business teams. Manage day-to-day ASN creation in MMS through mid-year, actively participating in the operational cutover and system integration into Blue Yonder heading into 2027.
• International Vendor Data Transformation: Interface with overseas vendors to standardise operational data, performing necessary unit-of-measure, formatting, and data conversions to ensure error-free ASN creation within MMS.
• Inventory Compliance & Relabeling Operations: Identify vendor compliance gaps and physically/systematically re-apply labels for non-compliant shipments, ensuring strict adherence to warehouse receiving standards and downstream traceability.
• Cross-Functional Inventory Management: Monitor and reconcile Direct Material Inventory flows, resolving EDI/ASN exceptions between shipping, receiving, and procurement teams to prevent warehouse bottlenecks.

Key Qualifications & Experience

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• ERP & WMS Systems: Proven hands-on experience using MMS and Blue Yonder (JDA) for inventory and shipment processing.
• EDI & ASN Protocols: Deep understanding of Advanced Shipping Notices (EDI 856), vendor compliance standards, and inbound logistics workflows.
• Inventory & Fulfillment: Demonstrated experience in Direct Material Inventory management, shipping and receiving operations, and warehouse labeling protocols.

Experience & Background:

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, logistics systems, or vendor compliance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot vendor data gaps and adapt to legacy system conversions during major enterprise software migrations.
