Position Summary
A Medicare Insurance Agency is seeking a driven and customer-focused Bilingual Medicare
Sales Agent (English–Spanish) to support in-person sales and enrollment activities. This is
a commission-only role ideal for individuals who are motivated by performance-based
earnings and comfortable engaging clients face-to-face. The agent will educate prospective
beneficiaries on Medicare plan options and guide them through the enrollment process
while maintaining strict compliance with CMS regulations and agency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with prospective clients in person to assess healthcare needs and Medicare
eligibility.
Conduct consultations in both English and Spanish, as needed.
Educate clients on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement (Medigap), and
Prescription Drug Plans (Part D).
Clearly explain plan benefits, coverage limitations, premiums, deductibles, and
copayments.
Deliver compliant sales presentations in accordance with CMS guidelines and
agency policies.
Complete enrollment applications accurately and submit all required
documentation on time.
Maintain accurate and organized client records.
Protect client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and CMS regulations.
Meet or exceed enrollment and revenue targets.Stay current on Medicare products,
carrier updates, and regulatory requirements.
Provide follow-up support and maintain long-term client relationships.
Represent the agency professionally at all times.
Required Qualifications
Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Active Health Insurance License (Life & Health or equivalent), or ability to obtain
quickly.
Medicare certification (AHIP), or willingness to obtain.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and closing skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a commission-only environment.
Professional appearance and strong customer service orientation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
Reliable availability for a consistent part-time schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Medicare or health insurance sales experience.
Existing book of business or local client network.
Experience working in an insurance agency environment.
Familiarity with CMS compliance standards.
Face-to-face sales or consultative sales background.
Pay: $188,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
