Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and direct maintenance activities in the facility. To work in cooperation with all department managers and supervisors to coordinate the safety and maintenance of the facility, equipment and production areas in order to obtain optimum safety, productivity and quality levels while complying with customer specifications.
Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be required to support multiple projects, safety, and product improvements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure all maintenance activities are appropriately carried out.
- Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization.
- Provide support for all pre-production builds requiring components and/or services from the manufacturing site
- Provide P.M. for facilities and production equipment
- Review and provide input on new equipment
- Support schedule mold changes as required by production
- Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site
- Work approved sub-contracted vendors
- Upkeep of building, grounds, and production equipment
- Coordinate training and skill improvements within the skilled trades
- Have daily safety contact with employees
- Attend required H, S, & E training with employees
- Report to maintenance safety issues and follow-up completion
- Conduct effective, timely accident investigations and initiate corrective action
- Train and encourage employees to follow safe work practices
- Provide effective Safety Talks with a goal of 100% participation
- Encourage employees to be involved in the safety process
- Enforce rules and procedures consistently

- Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of trade school in hydraulic, mechanical maintenance or equivalent on the job-the-job training.
- At least three years of related experience as a supervisor.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and electrical. Understands equipment, press and secondary operations.
- Able to read blueprints and possess a working knowledge of molding processes and secondary equipment in the operation of compression and injection presses.
- Has responsibility for continuous improvement, corrective actions and quality.
- Good oral, written communication and strong organizational skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others along with problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Ability to handle a wide variety and diversity of tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.03 - $34.96 per hour
