Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, a practical understanding of commercial interiors, and the ability to translate client needs into innovative, functional solutions. The candidate will be responsible for design support and showroom curation.
Showroom Curator Responsibilities:
· Keep showroom visually compelling and up-to-date
· Manage product displays
· Styling vignettes
· Updating showroom signage and product pricing
· Ordering and organizing product and finish samples
· Direct design support for walk-in customers
Other Key Responsibilities/Interior Design Support:
- Develop space plans, layouts, and 3D renderings for commercial projects of varying scales
- Collaborate closely with sales consultants, project managers, and clients to understand project goals and design intent
- Prepare finish palettes, furniture specifications, and installation drawings using AutoCAD, CET Designer, or 2020 GIZA softwares
- Create professional design presentations and client proposals
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, accessibility, and ergonomic standards
- Support bid and proposal submissions, including accurate pricing and product details
- Organizing, maintain and inventory the interior design library
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial interior design or contract furniture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET Designer (Configura), 2020 GIZA is a plus
- Strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, and workplace trends
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Familiarity with major contract furniture lines (HON, Kimball, AIS, JSI, SitOnIt, etc.) is highly preferred
