Overview
Tech Transformations is seeking a calm, thoughtful, and customer-focused IT Support Technician to assist clients throughout the Boston area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and learning new technologies.

This position will initially be approximately two days per week, focused primarily on onsite support in Watertown, MA. As the company continues to grow and the successful candidate develops in the role, there may be opportunities for additional hours, expanded responsibilities, and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support approximately two days per week in Watertown, MA (strong preference for Mondays and Wednesdays)
- Troubleshoot Windows and Mac computers, software applications, and end-user technology issues
- Set up workstations, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and conference room technology
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning and device deployment
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications and account management
- Document issues, solutions, and technical procedures
- Assist with administration of networking, storage, and cloud platforms
- Escalate complex technical issues when appropriate while maintaining strong ownership of client communication
- Participate in cybersecurity, device management, and operational improvement initiatives
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional presence while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common business applications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, and VPNs
- Interest in cybersecurity and IT systems administration
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
- Prior IT experience is helpful but not required
- Relevant certifications, coursework, home lab experience, technical projects, or personal technology interests are a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
