Job Description
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES
- Able to complete all phases of residential remodeling
- Performs skilled wood construction and alteration work tasks on buildings including framing, trim carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing, roofing, flooring, tilework, etc.
- Performs wood construction framing tasks which includes finish wood and laminate trim work, caulking and office furniture construction.
- Excellent ability to organize and manage other sub-contractors
- Operates and uses a variety of tools and equipment in the construction, alteration, and repair of buildings and facilities projects.
- Cleans work site areas.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- General knowledge of the standard practices, methods, tools and materials of the general building construction trades.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Ability to perform technical finish skill work to the building construction trades.
- Ability to perform a variety of manual work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, crouch and kneel. Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials/equipment that may weigh up to forty five (45) pounds.
