Overview
Tech-Time Communications is a local Low Voltage Systems Service, Installation and Engineering Contractor doing business in Bakersfield and the Central Coast since 1980. Our market focus is on Education, Public Works and Commercial Service and Installation Projects. We are primarily involved with Fire Alarm, Intercomm and Security Systems, but also provide for Access Control, CCTV, A/V and Systems Monitoring.
We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to develop new relationships with School Districts, Government Offices, Electrical Contractors, General Contractors, Architects and Engineers in and around Kern County. An outgoing and persistent personality with good follow-up is needed for this position. In addition to sales, account management is a key part of success. In house engineering/technical support and factory representatives will be part of the team helping you reach your goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and meet with key client personnel to offer Services, Support and Sales.
- Coordinate with contractors and our estimating department on Public Works Bid Jobs.
- Outreach with School District Associations and School Boards.
- New business development.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with school district business structures a huge plus.
- Ability to cold call clients in person and on the phone.
- Comfortable doing product demonstrations in small to medium sized groups.
- Understanding of basic computer network structures helpful.

- Salary and Commissions commensurate with experience.
