POSITION: Affordable Housing SpecialistLOCATION: Arcadia, CA.STATUS: Full Time / Permanent Responsibilities:Helping individuals & families find and secure affordable housing by assisting with applications for rental assistance programs and low-income housingInterview potential tenants to determine eligibility and needs, and guide them through the rental application processAssist clients in applying for and understanding various housing programs and subsidies, such as the Housing Choice Voucher program, public housing, and low-income tax creditsManage rental assistance contracts, monitor program compliance, and maintain recordsQualifications:Minimum of 2 years similar experience in affordable housing management along with managing people, projects, materials & information; equivalent combination of education and experience is desirablePolicies and Regulations- Knowledge of company policies, federal, state, and local laws regarding to government regulations & agency rules that pertain to properties managed
