Overview
Join our team as a Gas Field Electrician and play a vital role in installation of electrical systems within the natural gas extraction and processing environment. You will be installing pvc coated conduit and rigid conduit, installing cable tray, installation of conduit and wiring in different areas of classifiaction, pulling wire, and making terminations
Responsibilities
- Bending conduit
- installing heat trace
- operating man lift
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise wiring layouts and system modifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Collaborate with team members on industrial projects involving construction experience, schematic reading, and troubleshooting
- working out of town
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a background in industrial electrical systems and construction site work.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical installations and maintenance.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and schematics reading
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Understanding of local electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices for electrical work on construction sites.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, power distribution equipment, and framing carpentry is preferred.
- valid driver license
- ability to pass level 1 Disa background check
- ability to pass drug screening including THC
