Service Work Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. It's recommend to have at least 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with experience in manufacturing facilities. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on various systems, including HVAC/R and hydraulics. The Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and hydraulic systems.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues at customer sites.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose problems effectively.
• Use precision measuring instruments, such as ammeters and ohmmeters, for accurate assessments.
• Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, as needed for repairs.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on customer needs and solutions.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols, especially when working with high voltage or low voltage systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and updates.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance.
• Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience operating scissor lifts safely in an industrial environment.
• Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Previous experience as an industrial electrician is a plus.

Pay: $22.33 - $26.90 per hour
