Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Break-Fix Engineer to provide onsite technical support and resolve hardware/software issues in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with end-user computing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals)
- Perform break-fix support for IT equipment and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot OS-related issues (Windows/Mac)
- Handle network connectivity problems (LAN/Wi-Fi, basic troubleshooting)
- Replace faulty components and ensure minimal downtime
- Provide support for end-users and ensure smooth IT operations
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents and resolutions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Break-Fix / Desktop Support / Field Support roles
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with Windows OS, basic networking, and ticketing tools
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications like CompTIA A , Microsoft, or equivalent
- Experience with enterprise IT environments
- Basic knowledge of ITIL processes
