FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

This position reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Habmurg

Shift: 1^st shift (6:15am to 3:00pm), and overtime as needed. 

PURPOSE

The primary purpose of the Line Lead is to maintain the line in quality, efficiency, and speed.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Select products for specified stages in the production process and inspect products for variety of qualities.
• Investigate customer complaint regarding Quality and follow up.
• Maintain positive teamwork and morale within plant.
• Ensure overall quality of finished product.
• Lead by example and create a superior work team in line with Tech Packaging overall goals
• Follow standard operating/work methods and practice safe work habits
• Facilitate and organize effective Training that is unique to Tech Packaging
• Generate reports and accurately enter and report data

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 2 or more years’ experience working in a Line Lead or Trainer capacity for warehouse and/or production.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Must be able to lead by example.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally both internally and externally.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities at one time and effectively work cross-functionally.
• Candidate must have a commitment to continually learn more (including technology).
• Must be able to effectively train employees in the production process.  
• Experience with basic office equipment and MS Office.
• Must be able to work effectively with multiple priorities at one time and work cross functionally.
• Knowledge of Audits and SOP designs.
• Experience with completing forms, thoroughly, accurately and with frequency throughout each day.

General Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to frequently lift 20 to 50lbs and occasionally up to 90lbs.  
• Ability to stand/walk for up to a 10-hour shift, over time based on business needs.
• Must be able to constantly twist, bend, carry, balance, push, pull, reach overhead, and stoop.
• Must be able to follow standard operating/work methods and practice safe work habits.
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures.
• All plant positions are required to stand, practice frequent motion of extremities and withstand exposure to heat and cold for extended periods of time. 

OTHER

Candidate must show authorization to work for any employer in the United States on the first day of employment. 

Candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
