Fork Lift Production 1

As a Forklift Operator, you will be required to load and unload multi-product pallets in and out of our local delivery trucks. You will also use a forklift to transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse to put away.

SHIFTS:
1st Shift - 6:30AM to 3:00PM
2nd Shift - 3:30PM to 12:00AM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse
*Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
*Move product and/or materials manually as required.
*Sweep floor slots
*Change battery in forklift, when applicable
*Keep work area clean
*Clean spills and re-work damage
*Use case cutter to cut tops off cases
*Slot material in designated storage areas
*Pull material to deliver to production lines
*Perform other job-related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bi-lingual preferred. Basic command of English a must!
•    Experience in a fast-paced Production (and Manufacturing) industry preferred
•    Ability to stand/walk for up to a 10-hour shift, over time based on needs.
•    Must be able to lift objects weighing 20-80 lbs., occasionally lifting objects more than 90 lbs
•    Twisting, bending, carrying, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and stooping
•    Follow standard operating/work methods and practice safe work habits
•    Flexible and able to work weekends or over-time as needed
•    Dependable Reliable transportation
•    Ability to work in a variety of temperatures
•    Compliance with all company policies and procedures

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
*KNOWLEDGE OF RS SCANNER a HUGE PLUS!
*Valid Driver’s License or State Identification
*Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
*Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check

All plant positions require to stand, frequent motion of extremities and exposure to heat and cold for extended periods of time.
