Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to support the doctor and dental team in providing high-quality patient care. The Orthodontic Assistant will assist with orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, patient education, and daily office operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
- Assist the doctor during patient treatment and orthodontic procedures.
- Properly position instruments and assist with handling orthodontic appliances.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene.
- Assist with patient scheduling and front-office tasks as needed.
- Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters.
- Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
- Maintain office inventory, including dental supplies and equipment.
- Address patient and employee concerns professionally and appropriately.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working as an Orthodontic Assistant.
- Experience assisting with orthodontic procedures and patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dental/orthodontic team.
Education Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program, OR
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- X-Ray certification required.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $44.00 per hour
