TMB has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Data Management Analyst to provide support to a U.S. Navy program office.
Responsibilities
- The Sr. Database Management Analyst will provide technical and analytical support to the NAVSEA Director for Surface Ship Maintenance, Modernization, and Sustainment (SEA 21).
- This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing databases that store critical program data, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Design, implement, and maintain relational databases supporting SEA 21 programs and initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with DoD and NAVSEA data governance standards.
- Develop queries, reports, and dashboards to support program analysis and leadership briefings.
- Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with data analysts, program managers, and IT teams to integrate data solutions into workflows.
- Support data migration, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
- Maintain cybersecurity compliance and access control protocols for sensitive data.
Qualifications
- 10 years professional experience.
- Master's desired or bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of professional experience is acceptable instead of a degree.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
