Job Title: SRE

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. This role is crucial for enhancing our platform capabilities and driving our DevOps initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support application deployment and scaling.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization.
• Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps and cloud platforms.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
