Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in Adobe AEM Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on delivering high quality solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Adobe AEM.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications, ensuring timely resolution.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development and Adobe AEM.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.

Mandatory Skills:

• Core Front End Engineering - HTML /CSS. Very strong in Javascript. Edge browser performance optimizations. Client side rendering patterns. Module based JS. DOM manipulation.
• EDS Specific architecture and tooling . Very strong in AEM EDS concepts – Edge delivery architecture, blocks, sections page composition, pipeline concepts, content sources. Project structure. ADO CI/CD pipelines. Universal Editor integration. AEM as cloud service basics. Edge caching and invalidation concepts. Content delivery at CDN/edge
• Performance Engineering – CWV, lighthouse optimization. Lazy loading patterns, Image optimization strategies, Critical CSS, Edge caching strategies
• Personalization and Experimentation – Adobe target Websdk basics, Edge network concepts etc
• Accessibility and Compliance
• CMS and Content modeling – content modeling in AEM. Authoring patterns, content reuse strategies, localization and translation readiness, structured content and headless CMS concepts
• SEO & Analytics- technical SEO basics, Structured data (schema.org), metadata management, tag management concepts
• Adobe analytics basics
• Dev Ops and Edge concepts – familiarity with CDN behaviors & caching headers, cache busting strategies, Edge functions concepts, observability of logs (Dynatrace, Grafana, RUM)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Adobe AEM.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The pay range for this role is $90,000- $100,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
