Currently this position is hybrid remote but will be required to report to our headquarters once the company has deemed appropriate. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to entry into QuickBooks.
- Must have experience with Inventory accounting. Will coordinate between Purchasing > Receiving > Vendors. Matching of all documents prior to payment.
- Prints and obtains signatures on all check payments.
- Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.
- Scans supporting documents for saving in QuickBooks.
- Ensures that vendors have been reviewed for W-9’s.
- Coordinates annual 1099 documentation for the IRS.
- Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, Paypal, Wires, ACH, and credit card transactions.
- Posts payments from pending deposit to bank deposit in QuickBooks.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, receiving discrepancies, customer service department, and from customers.
- Processes returns and account credits.
- Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, aging reports, payment history, and working with and documenting collection agreements with past due accounts.
- Processes new account documents, confirms references, runs credit reporting and makes recommendations.
- Reconciles aging report with analysis by past due customers to detail any issues and contacts the past due accounts.
- Performs Balance Sheet reconciliations for A/R, customer deposits and undeposited funds.
- Assists in monthly closings. Creates monthly accrual Journal Entry.
- Prepares analysis of accounts. Prepares several Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Answers all vendor and customer inquiries.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Participates in Process Improvement.

Required Education and Experience:
- AA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 - 2 years of Accounting Experience.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Apps.
- General knowledge of the apparel industry preferred.
