Summary:
As a Crisis Services Supervisor in the Adult Behavioral Health Program, you will be responsible for the following: Oversee the delivery of crisis screening and intervention services and intensive case management services.
The Crisis Services team will provide crisis screening, intervention and referrals for aftercare to Wayne County adults referred by local police departments and other community partners throughout Wayne County 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, including weekends and holidays.
The Intensive Case Management team will provide intensive case management and crisis intervention services to adults who have demonstrated a significant risk for psychiatric readmission or repeated use of emergency psychiatric services, and those clients under court order to receive Assisted Outpatient Treatment and those deemed Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.
Regular working hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7:00 pm and Fridays 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Based on the needs of the clients and the program, additional hours are expected, including evening and weekends.
The Crisis Services Supervisor will arrange and/or provide afterhours coverage for crisis calls to support program staff as needed.
Travel: Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle used - IRS standard.
64 per mile Any training paid for by TGC.

Paid holidays include: New Years Eve and New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, day for Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after (Black Friday), Christmas eve and Christmas Day.
Must meet the criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional, including a Master s Degree in social work, psychology or counseling with an LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders is required.
Specific experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred.
Must have at least one (1) year of experience working in a supervisory capacity.
Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire.
Candidates must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
Upon hire, the application must be submitted for the Development Plan to MCBAP, with or without the required trainings, within 30 days of hire.
Documentation of required trainings may be submitted with the Development Plan Application or within 90 days of hire.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, triage and crisis intervention skills, and the ability to handle crisis situations in a calm and professional manner.
Must demonstrate competency working collaboratively with clients, family members, agency staff and community partners.
Must have the ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational skills and demonstrate an attention to detail necessary to track, prepare and report data.
Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of adults with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders and their families.
