Description
Summary/Objective
The Solderer performs repetitive work-station or line-assembly operations. The flex assembler assembles flex circuitries product until they are completed to acceptance test procedures by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions

Perform bench-type processes to complete electrical assemblies, using hand tools, fixtures, toggle press, pneumatic machine, microscope, and bonding machines.
Report defective parts or questionable conditions to the department lead or supervisor.
Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Perform prescribed Operator Process Control Checklist prior to using machinery to ensure machine criteria is met (such as pressure temperature, programming), etc. If out of compliance, ensure Red Tag Lock Procedure is in place.
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision in order to prioritize work.
Perform multiple washing operations for circuits and sheets cleaning processes.
Record data of key features, measurements, and specifications per Production Control Work Sheet.
Ability to read and follow instructions represented in travelers, work instructions, and ISO book documents.
Ability to multi-task, good hand/eye coordination, attention to detail and learn new operations within the department.
Ability to complete tasks on time for delivery.
Ability to follow Custom Part / Flex acceptance quality criteria.
Able to understand the quality criteria instructions.
Able to have good communication skills (verbal and written).
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional overtime as deemed by management and production needs. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of related experience.

Salary Range: $17.50-$25.00/hour
This is the full salary range for the position. Most new hires can expect to start around $17.50/hour.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
