- Applies theories & principles of system design & engineering to develop solutions for customers at the point of sale & installation of new fire alarm systems
- Provides consultation, system design/solution, estimating and scope of work of system design/solution during the sales process primarily for assigned account teams
- Provides system design & technical support at the point of system installation for assigned account teams & other employees
- Works with the respective Director of Technology in developing an effective sales demonstration presentation & sales demonstration room to effectively present their systems & technology solutions
- Identifies new technologies, assess change manufacturers, identify software development strategies & review and improve customer lifecycle services
- Attends various national trade & manufacturer conferences as directed by supervisor to maintain knowledge of technology
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience) is recommended.
- Professional experience designing technology solutions.
- Knowledge of Fire Safety Systems
- NICET certification preferred
- Valid Drivers License
