Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IT Support Technician role based in Painesville, OH. The IT Support Technician will provide hands-on technical assistance to end users, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers and related hardware. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing basic computer repair, and supporting printers and peripherals. The role involves responding to support tickets, documenting resolutions, and escalating complex issues when necessary. The technician will also assist with software installations, updates, and user training to help maintain a stable and secure IT environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Strong end-user support skills, including Technical Support and Troubleshooting for common hardware and software issues.
- Hands-on experience with Desktop Computers, including setup, configuration, and basic Computer Repair.
- Ability to provide Printer Support, including installation, connectivity, and routine maintenance.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, basic networking concepts, and common business applications.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, non-technical language.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently on-site at client locations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network ) or equivalent practical experience are preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
