Position Overview
Deliver Project Controls Change Control Type support services for NNSA Capital Projects. These services are designed to support the NNSA Capital Projects mission by thoroughly evaluating and assessing diverse project scopes. Responsibilities include technical writing, as well as reviewing project costs and schedules.

Additional Duties
- Impact Analysis: Analyze the potential impacts of proposed changes on project scope, schedule, cost, and resources, and prepare reports for management.
- Maintaining Change Logs: Ensure all change requests, decisions, and actions are accurately recorded and maintained in a centralized change log.
- Coordinating with Project Teams: Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and other functional teams to gather input and assess the feasibility and implications of changes.
- Ensuring Compliance: Monitor adherence to change control processes and ensure all changes meet regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements.
- Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on change status, trends, and metrics for project management and executive leadership.
- Risk Identification: Identify and communicate risks associated with proposed changes and work with the risk management team to update the risk register as needed.
- Document Control Coordination: Interface with document control to ensure all change-related documents are properly archived and accessible.
Experience Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, and project controls. (Required)
- Reviews work for completeness as required by project specifications and scope definitions. (Required)
- Candidate must have strong problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills. (Required)
Additional Work Requirements
- Area Security Access: Clearance "Q" required. Subcontractor must have an active eFOCI registration and approved Facility Level Clearance with DOE / NNSA.
- Travel Requirements:Please identify any travel requirements here.
- Please note – Travel cannot take place until it has been approved by procurement via a fully funded requisition and added to the Task Order Authorization. A justification, travel locations, estimated cost, and dates of travel must be provided prior to procurement approval. Travel will not be reimbursed for conferences or trainings. Please remember, all rates are fully burdened and should include all costs outside of direct business travel.
