Test Technician
Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to support our Testing Department by ensuring the functionality, reliability, and productivity of testing equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically knowledgeable, and capable of performing hands-on diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of testing equipment to maintain high quality and efficiency standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance in alignment with the department’s PM schedule.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and operating accurately.
- Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair equipment based on engineering specifications or manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of defects and assist in implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed, organized records of testing activities and prepare reports for engineers or other stakeholders.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding technical concerns or equipment requirements.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support operational goals.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong foundational knowledge of electronics and electrical circuits.
- High attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies in testing results or equipment behavior.
- Effective problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis.
- Ability to interpret test results, recognize patterns, and extract meaningful insights.
- Strong documentation and communication skills for reporting and collaborating with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple testing tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS, Linux, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education & Experience
- Associate degree in Electronics OR 1–3 years of experience in electronics, manufacturing, or a related technical field (required).
