Job description:CNC Mills Set Up Operator – 2nd ShiftSchedule: Monday – Friday 2pm-10:30 pmPay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hourDepartment: CNC | Reports to: CNC Lead Person / Shop Floor SupervisorPosition Summary:We're seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Operator to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC Mills, following detailed specifications to cut, shape, or form metal parts. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a machining environment and can inspect work for quality and precision.Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret setup sheets to determine machining sequences and part dimensionsSet up and operate CNC mills according to instructions and production schedulesChange out tooling and fixtures as neededMonitor machines and fluid levels during operationInspect parts using visual and measurement tools to ensure accuracyDetect and report malfunctions or discrepancies to the lead/setup operatorMaintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety proceduresQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required1–2 years of CNC operation or setup experience preferredAbility to read blueprints, safety rules, and maintenance instructionsBasic math skills including ability to calculate measurements and percentagesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to stand, walk, lift, and use handsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in a loud, manufacturing environment!
