What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder Fitter position at TEC Group Inc.?
We have immediate openings for experienced Welder Fitters with an automation company. Must be able to weld weldments with various types of applications according to company and /or customers specifications.
Days - 6am start time
Duties
- Fit details according to company and/or customer specifications determined by supervisor.
- Service shop floor fitting requests in a timely manner.
- Keep an updated materials and supply inventory.
- Perform maintenance on equipment or machinery as required.
- Inform supervisor if equipment or machinery fails or requires repairs beyond capabilities.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read blueprints and to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must be able to MIG weld.
- Must have own rolling toolbox, tools and welding PPE.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary : $25 - $27
