Description of Position
An Equipment Asset Manager in retail oversees the inventory, maintenance, and lifecycle of store equipment to ensure seamless daily operations. They track asset performance, coordinate repairs, and optimize equipment usage to reduce downtime and support an efficient retail environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Tracking and managing all physical equipment assets (tools, equipment, and capital fleet assets)
- Maintaining asset inventory records – Of New Retail Fleet and Attachments
- Monitoring asset lifecycle (Purchase & Acquisitions)
- Scheduling maintenance for the retail fleet sold
- Ensuring compliance and safety standards
- Managing asset-related costs and budgeting
- Overseeing asset allocation to teams or locations
- Focus on marketing strategies with current sales staff per dealership footprint authorization
Requirements of the Position
- Education and Certification – Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related fields; Industrial, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus. OSHA-30 certification
- Recommended Work Experiences – A minimum of 2 years of previous sales management experience in equipment sales and rentals or other similar industry; Knowledge of various phases of construction, equipment applications, features, benefits, operations, and specification
- Physical Demands – Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more; working inside/outside when required by the job; miscellaneous or similar duties may be required from day-to-day
- Working Conditions – Considerable local and non-local travel may be required; Work with a group and/or team; Frequent conflict situations may be present; Work after normal business hours; Potential hazardous work; Frequent exposure to extreme outside weather conditions and high levels of noise
