DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistent travel and some night shifts are required for this position.
- Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
- Assist with the installation of electrical components, such as outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Assist with the installation of electrical wiring and conduit.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an electrical helper or related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry and basic construction techniques.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work at high voltage and low voltage levels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

TEC Electric, LLC was formed in 2005 with offices located in Charlotte, NC. We provide general contracting services as well as self-perform all electrical, lighting, network, and security system installation services for customers throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee.
Currently, TEC has 20 employees consisting of corporate, field operations, engineering, and business development. TEC self-performs all technology systems except fire alarm, lightning protection, and life safety systems. For these services, we subcontract with a select list of companies with which we have a long history of successful partnerships.
