Accounting Manager

As we continue to grow, we’re looking to bring on an experienced Accounting Manager to help lead and elevate our financial operations.

Job Overview:
As our Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting functions and ensure timely reporting, budgeting, and compliance across multiple projects and states.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including AP, AR, payroll, job costing, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
• Oversee cash flow management and forecasting.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and financial tracking.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with tax regulations and audits.
• Work closely with leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.
• Help streamline and modernize accounting systems and processes.
• Support the integration of new projects or business units into the accounting structure.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus).
• 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong background in construction or project-based accounting is a plus.
• Proficient with accounting software (experience with QuickBooks plus).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing remote collaboration.
• Able to thrive in a hybrid work setting and occasionally travel to the office for key meetings or deadlines.
