What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Handyman (Onsite) position at Tebo Dental Group?
Tebo Dental is a well-established and privately owned children & teen and orthodontic group with locations just north of Atlanta, GA in the cities of Lilburn, Dacula, Gainesville, Peachtree Corners, and Cumming. We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented, and dedicated handyman to join our family.
***Candidates will need to have flexibility in their schedules as this position will be part-time with potential for full-time based on the needs of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and fix minor mechanical or structural issues
- Assemble furniture or equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of premises
- Complete janitorial tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Respond to work orders and complete outstanding repairs
- Be available to respond to emergency issues that may arise during non-peak business hours and provide on-site support
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role
- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills, work ethic, and attention-to-detail
- Ability to take initiative to resolve problems, fix equipment, etc. with a sense of urgency
- Ability to travel between our office locations for site visits to perform preventative maintenance tasks
