The company offers engineering and design, field services, and panel and control building fabrication, serving as a single source for end-to-end project support. In its Teays Valley office, TVE designs electrical and control systems, specifies and procures equipment, produces AutoCAD drawings and engineering documents, and programs PLC, HMI, and RTU systems. On job sites, TVE provides engineers and technicians for wire terminations, instrument setup and calibration, programming, and startup and commissioning assistance. In partnership with Raptor Energy Systems, TVE also builds fully assembled control buildings to house measurement, quality, and other electrical and electronic equipment.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role located in the United States. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in natural gas industry facilities, including control panels, instrumentation, and related wiring. Responsibilities include performing wire terminations, troubleshooting electrical issues, supporting loop checks, and assisting with instrument setup and calibration under the guidance of engineers and technicians. The role also involves reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics, following safety standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting startup and commissioning activities at client sites. The Electrician will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure reliable operation of electrical and automation systems.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in electricity and practical electrical work skills.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying root causes.
- Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts related to control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Previous experience in industrial environments, energy, or natural gas facilities is beneficial.
- Relevant licensure or certification as an Electrician and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work on-site, occasionally in field conditions, and lift or handle equipment as needed.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers and technicians.
