Marketing Intern – August 2025 – December 2025
The Teaspoon Marketing Intern will support the Marketing Manager and Sr. Content Producer. In this role, they will assist in all marketing operations including customer service, social media, managing content calendars, administrative duties, content creation, and more. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager.
This internship position will provide the opportunity to learn about marketing and content creation in a fast-paced environment during product launches. The candidate will gain skills and knowledge about 360 marketing strategies and business acumen related to a franchise business model.
Creative
- Create ad hoc flyers and social media graphics
- Serve as production assistant during content shoots
Social Media
- Research social media trends and recommend content formats
- Create content, including starring in content pieces as well as writing copy
- Analyze social media performance and develop insights into content performance
Email Marketing
- Write copy and construct emails to be sent to customers both brand-wide and for specific store initiatives
- Analyze email data and conduct A/B Testing to develop insights for future implementation
Marketing Administration
- Maintain administrative documents such as contact lists, merch inventory, etc.
- Conduct outreach for merch suppliers, partners, etc.
- Mail or order marketing items as needed
- Respond to customer service emails and expedite issues to the appropriate department
- Maintain the Marketing Toolbox with up-to-date assets and work closely with the Sr. Content Producer to ensure these are posted in a timely manner
The Marketing Intern will also assist in ad hoc projects and any other tasks related to email marketing, web design, digital advertising, ambassador and influencer marketing, partnerships, asset creation, marketing administration, and social media.
Qualifications & Skills
- Available to work in Teaspoon’s San Jose office 3 days per week (20 hours per week)
- Proficient with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Experience creating content and writing social media copy
- Comfortable on camera
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- A quick learner
The expected pay for this role is $17.95/hour. This internship will run from August 2025 until December 2025.
