Title Banquet Setup | Part-Time | Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center

The Banquet Setup team is responsible for preparing event and dining areas for food and beverage service. This position ensures tables, chairs, buffet stations, service equipment, and other supplies are properly arranged, clean, stocked, and ready before guests arrive. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $18.50 - $20.00.

This position will remain open until December 25, 2026.

• Set tables, chairs, linens, buffet stations, beverage stations, and other food and beverage service areas.

• Polish and roll silverware.

• Transport, arrange, and organize equipment, supplies, food service items, and beverages.

• Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.

• Follow event floor plans, setup diagrams, and instructions from supervisors.

• Prepare serving stations with plates, utensils, glassware, napkins, condiments, and other necessary items.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and service areas.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures.

• Respond promptly to changing event needs and last-minute setup requests.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Previous food service, hospitality, catering, banquet, or event experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to take direction.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication and customer-service skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move equipment for extended periods.

• Must have the ability to lift and/or carry heavy objects.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules as needed.
