Material Handler Job Summary:
- Safe operation of a lift truck in both warehouse and production areas
- Loading, unloading, storage and movement of materials through warehouse and/or production areas
- Verify the quality of the material sent outbound meets customer expectations
- Maintain clean and orderly warehouse
- Adheres to all instructions in a professional manner
- Pay: $20 per hour, based on experience
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm with occasional overtime as needed
Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operating forklifts to transport materials i na warehouse setting
- Loading/unloading material from trucks
- Maintaining organized warehouse/production inventory
- Collaborates with employees to maintain organization & delivering materials with urgency
- Always adheres to safety protocols and follows policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Material Handler Qualifications:?
- Education: High School Diploma or related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years' experience operating a forklift
- Previous background in production preferred
- Regular and predictable attendance required
Other Requirements:
- Material handling experience.
- CDL Major Plus but not required.
- Exceptional dedication to dependability and punctuality.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to engage a team toward a common mission.
Additional abilities required:
- Ability to understand directions.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Works well as part of a team.
