Network Engineer II (ONSITE)

Network Engineer Tier II (ONSITE) 

Location: West Des Moines, IA or Cedar Rapids, IA (onsite with some hybrid opportunities)
Salary:  $75,000-$90,000
Direct Hire - MUST BE USC/GCH 

A Network Engineer Tier II (4 Years) plays a key role on our technology team, serving as the primary point of technical support. This position works directly with users to quickly diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network problems, implementing changes, and maintaining the overall health and performance of the network. 

• 4 years supporting Cisco network environments, including deployment and troubleshooting of Cisco and Meraki equipment.
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP required; CMNA preferred.
• Experience working with TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, VPN concentrators, and firewalls.
• Security expertise with firewall configuration, VPN technologies, IDS/IPS management, and compliance with security standards.
• Scripting Skills in Python and PowerShell for automation of network tasks.
• Experience with LogicMonitor, N-Able, and ticketing systems (ConnectWise a plus).
• Strong ability to resolve cabling, connectivity, and performance issues in complex environments.
