Part-Time Preschool Sports & Enrichment Instructor
Teams of Tomorrow Southwest Nashville
Teams of Tomorrow is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable instructor to teach our award-winning preschool sports and enrichment program at select childcare centers throughout the Southwest Nashville area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children, teaching basic sports skills, and making a positive impact in a fun, active environment. No prior Teams of Tomorrow experience is required—we provide on-the-job training and curriculum support.
Position Details
- Pay: $25–$30 per hour, plus bonuses for new student enrollments and additional sales generated
- Schedule: 3–12 hours per week
- Minimum shift: 3 hours per scheduled day
- Typical schedule examples: Mondays from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Flexible, part-time weekday hours
- Travel between childcare centers is required
Responsibilities
- Teach Teams of Tomorrow sports and enrichment classes to preschool-aged children
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate activities using the provided curriculum
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment
- Communicate professionally with childcare center staff and families
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes
- Maintain safety standards during all activities
Qualifications
- Enjoy working with young children
- Energetic, positive, and dependable
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to lead active physical activities
- Reliable transportation
- Experience in education, coaching, childcare, recreation, youth programs, or related fields is preferred but not required
Requirements
- Successfully pass a background check
- Complete CPR/First Aid certification (training may be provided)
- Obtain fitness instructor liability insurance
- Provide three professional references
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport sports equipment as needed
