The Site Coordinator provides essential clerical and operational support to the BasePointe Anesthesia Coding Department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate workflow processing, documentation tracking, and timely distribution of anesthesia coding materials. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a production-driven environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive manual anesthesia coding batches from Registration, log all materials accurately, and distribute batches to assigned coders.
- Monitor OnBase workflow queues to ensure completed batches are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform anesthesia concurrency functions and review related reports to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies.
- Post anesthesia batches to the TES system, ensuring all charges reconcile with batch logs and department records.
- Log completed work out of the department and deliver manual batches to scanning for document retention.
- Maintain provider signature books to ensure compliance and completeness.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager or Director.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong data entry and general computer skills required.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime or extended hours as business needs require
- Position is performed in a semi-quiet office environment.
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of materials may be required.
- Requires frequent use of office equipment including computers, telephones, 10-key calculators, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and meet established productivity standards.
- May require physical and mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule, and/or more than five (5) days per week
