Responsibilities
- Provide in-person medical care for residents in short term skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities from Canton to Colfax, North Carolina
- Provide mentorship and oversight for collaborating clinicians
- Timely pharmacy, acute response and documentation of care
- Clear understanding and implementation of regulatory guidelines
- Attend monthly leadership meetings
- Current physician license (State of North Carolina) and DEA
- Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
- Job Type: Full-time
- Ability to Commute: Up to 50 minutes from Asheville
- Ability to Relocate: Before starting work (required)
- Work Location: In-person daytime rounding; Monday through Friday with flexible hours
