OB/GYN Hospitalist In Edison, NJ

Job Description

TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated OB/Gyn physician to join our OB/Gyn hospitalist and outpatient clinic team at Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. This role includes 24-hour, in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist shifts, along with occasional daytime full scope OB/GYN services in JFK’s family medicine residency clinic. Prenatal patients seen in the clinic will be transitioned to the OB/Gyn hospitalist team at JFK Medical Center for all inpatient care.

This position requires strong collaboration with nursing staff and comfort supporting certified nurse midwives and family medicine residents in the outpatient setting. Gynecologic surgical cases originating from the clinic may be managed by the OB/Gyn hospitalist team. Clinical responsibilities also include emergency department coverage and inpatient GYN consultations.

The ideal candidate is a board-certified OB/Gyn physician with current, active skills across the full spectrum of OB/Gyn care. Candidates should be enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring medical students and family medicine residents.

Competitive compensation is an estimated base salary range of $276,480 to $368,640 annually.
