As a key member of our hospital medicine team, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality overnight care through admissions and cross-coverage support for hospitalized patients. Position Highlights
- Full-time nocturnist schedule
- 7pm to 7am shifts
- Desirable 7-on/7-off block schedule providing excellent work-life balance
- Primary responsibilities include admissions and cross-coverage floor calls
- High level of autonomy with strong physician and specialist support when needed
- Epic EMR system
- Collegial, team-oriented culture with established leadership and operational support
- Modern community hospital located in the highly desirable Kansas City metro area
- Experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant with prior hospital medicine experience
- Comfortable managing patients independently during overnight hours
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Kansas license preferred, or ability to obtain licensure
- Available to start within approximately 90-120 days
